Apple's standard licence
Your use of the app is governed by Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the standard EULA). The terms below add to it. Where they differ, the standard EULA applies.
What the app is
Tell Me the Hand is a study tool for live No-Limit Hold'em players to review hands after the session. It only judges hands that are already finished. There is no wagering, no real money and no prize of any kind in the app, and nothing you win or lose at poker is connected to it.
Use the app to review hands that are over. Do not use it for help with a hand that has not finished, and follow your card room's rules.
You must be 18 or older to use the app.
Verdicts and numbers are worked out from the hand you confirm and the read you choose. They show what follows from those inputs and the assumptions listed on each verdict. They are for learning, not a promise about any future hand or result.

Auto-renewing subscriptions
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase or, if you start the yearly plan's free trial, when the trial ends.
- A subscription renews automatically for the same period and price unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your account is charged for the renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple Account settings: on iPhone or iPad, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions. The app's Settings › Pro also has a Manage subscription button. Cancelling stops the next renewal; Pro stays on until the end of the period you paid for.
- Free trial: if you do not cancel at least 24 hours before the 7 days end, the yearly subscription starts and is charged. Any unused part of a free trial ends when you buy a subscription.
Pro Lifetime
The one-time purchase unlocks every Pro feature that runs on your device, for good: unlimited reviews built by tapping or read on your device, every verdict, drill and lesson, the full leak history and the weekly report written by our templates. It does not include whole-session review. Hands read by our online language service stay at the free daily allowance unless you also have an active subscription.
Fair use
A subscription includes a daily allowance for the online language service and a monthly fair-use cap. The 7-day free trial has a smaller allowance. One subscription works on up to 10 devices in any 30 days. When an allowance runs out, the app says when it resets, and everything that runs on your device keeps working.
Refunds and restoring
Apple handles payments and refunds. To ask for a refund, go to reportaproblem.apple.com. To restore purchases on a new device, use Settings › Pro › Restore purchases in the app.
Your content
The hands, reasons and notes you enter are yours. You let us process them only to provide the app's features, as described in the Privacy Policy. Please do not enter other people's personal details in a hand.
Fair and lawful use
Do not misuse the app or its online service: no automated or bulk access, no attempts to get around limits or security checks, and no use that breaks the law where you live. We may limit access to the online service for installs that abuse it.
Changes to the app or these terms
We may improve or change features. If these terms change in a way that matters, we will update this page and the date at the top.
Liability
The app is provided as it is, without any promise that it is error-free or that it will improve your results. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses that come from decisions you make at poker or elsewhere. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be limited.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, except where the law where you live gives you rights that cannot be taken away.
